Why We Are Here (The Season) - Season to plant, hunt, etc (examples) A. Life has various seasons
• Seasons of learning
• Seasons of experience
• Seasons of growth
• Seasons of planting/sowing
• Seasons of harvest/reaping
• ETC
Ecc 3:1 To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:
Ecc 3:2 A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted;
Ecc 3:3 A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up;
Ecc 3:4 A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance;
Ecc 3:5 A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing;
Ecc 3:6 A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away;
Ecc 3:7 A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak;
Ecc 3:8 A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.
Jhn 4:35 Say not ye, There are yet four months, and then cometh harvest? behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest.
WE NEED TO LOOK FOR AND REACH OUT TO THOSE WHO ARE HURTING, in need, spirituality hungry and thirsty, etc.!!!!
We must pay spiritually pay attention and notice those that are ripe for harvest!!!!
It is work! You will get your hands dirty, you will and you will get tired, however, THE REWARD IS WORTH IT AND WE WILL REJOICE WITH THE HARVEST ONE SOUL AT A TIME. That’s what will keep us encouraged and help us to keep going, even when we are seemingly totally worn . (Ex. Of when I used to farm and harvest corn by hand.)
-There will be many more people NOT going to heaven for eternity than actually are going.
Mat 7:13 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:
Mat 7:14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.
Hell is enlarging it’s border!!!!!!
The more we sow and reap, the greater the harvest will be!!!
It’s worth it for each and every soul, just as when I was farming it was worth it for each and every ear of corn!
This building may not look like a whole lot, but looks mean nothing when God is in it! Despise not small beginnings!!!
Lives will be changed! The sick will be healed! Devils will be cast out. The lame will walk, the blind will see, the deaf will hear, the dead will be raised SPIRITUALLY AND PHYSICALLY!!!! The physical will be a representation of the spiritual.
THE SHEEPFOLD IS...
Shelters build inside of it for the shepherds and the sheep so it’s a rock enclosure. Usually it had thorns planted on the rock, so try to get into it, but only inside they would have like two sheds it would protect them in the daytime. The sheep would be led to the pastures in the hills, hillside, and at night brought back into the sheepfold for protection from predators of night so the sheet fold is a shelter from the evils of darkness. Amen.
• A place of protection • A place of birth
• A place of restoration • Of safety
• Healing
• Oppressed/Possessed/ delivered
Be not weary in well doing for in due season you will reap if you do not faint!!!!!
Ex: when I started church in Georgetown we had a 13 week revival. Over 30 were born again and none of them stayed. BUT they went back the the Baptist church, from where they, came and changed that church into a “Bapticostal” church! Spirit filled and Jesus name baptism.
THE Goal is to regions, save the lost whether they stay in our church building or move on is irrelevant. We are growing the kingdom of God we are working for God and building His kingdom, we are not trying to just grow and keep this building full.
The will drive Down the street and feel God’s pull to come in here.
