Surrendered/ submitted
Ex: Thousands of Russians are surrendering to the Ukrainians and are now fighting with the Ukrainians.
-currently the life expectancy of a Russian soldier is 2 months!!
Be surrendered
- Thousands of people don’t really know the Power of the Holy Ghost and are trying to fight so hard against sin and many are fighting against God, yet the suicide rate is extremely high! When they finally submit to God and the Power of His Holy Spirit and began to fight in God’s spiritual kingdom they become victorious and live forever!
- WE MUST SUBMIT TO GOD FOR LIFE AND VICTORY!!!
Rom 10:3 For, being ignorant of the righteousness of God, and seeking to establish their own, they did not submit to God's righteousness.
Gal 5:1 For freedom Christ has set us free; stand firm therefore, and do not submit again to a yoke of slavery.
Jas 4:7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the Lord, in ALL of your ways acknowledge him and he will direct your path.
Mat 6:33 But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.
Mat 7:21 “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.
Mat 7:22 On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’
Mat 7:23 And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.’
- path we MUST surrender to God! We try to force our fleshly desire and fight so hard for them and usually quickly leads to destruction.!
-These folks in Mat. 7:23 did not submit to the Husband of Jesus Christ and had no close relationship with Him.
-WE MUST TOTALLY LOVE HIM WITH ALL OF OUR HEART, MIND, BODY, SOUL, , & MIGHT!!!!! IN TOTAL SURRENDER AND SUBMISSION TO GOD IN THE FACE OF JESUS CHRIST!!!
Mrk 10:21 And Jesus, looking at him, loved him, and said to him, “You lack one thing: go, sell all that you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow me.”
Mrk 10:22 Disheartened by the saying, he went away sorrowful, for he had great possessions.
Mrk 10:23 And Jesus looked around and said to his disciples, “How difficult it will be for those who have wealth to enter the kingdom of God!”
Mrk 10:24 And the disciples were amazed at his words. But Jesus said to them again, “Children, how difficult it is to enter the kingdom of God!
Mrk 10:25 It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich person to enter the kingdom of God.”
Mrk 10:26 And they were exceedingly astonished, and said to him, “Then who can be saved?”
Mrk 10:27 Jesus looked at them and said, “With man it is impossible, but not with God. For all things are possible with God.”
-WHAT IS THE PROBLEM?
-WHY Don’t FOLKS SUBMIT & SURRENDER?
Mat 13:22 As for what was sown among thorns, this is the one who hears the word, but the cares of the world and the deceitfulness of riches choke the word, and it proves unfruitful. “but the cares of the world and the deceitfulness of riches and the desires for other things enter in and choke the word, and it proves unfruitful.” (Mrk 4:19, ESV)
Heb 3:13 (ESV) But exhort one another every day, as long as it is called “today,” that none of you may be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin.
1Jn 2:15 (KJV) Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 1Jn 2:16 (KJV) For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.
1Jn 2:17 (KJV) And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.
-DO YOU REALLY WANT TO LIVE THE LIFE GOD WANTS YOU TO LIVE?
Do you want and desire His desires and wants for you in this life and the world to come.
Rom 12:1 (KJV) I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.
Rom 12:2 (KJV) And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
You may ask, “How do I surrender ?”....YOU REPENT!!! Turn from your fleshy desires and will, then turn to God, His desires, and will.
Act 2:36 Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made that same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ.
Act 2:37 Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do?
Act 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
Act 2:39 For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.
